Keep up, people, I'm blogging every day! Still enjoying the Daylight Savings sleep in...8:40ish we had breakfast of Lucky Charms again. The boys weren't anxious to head out too early, they said they just wanted to play around the house.

So they did. I had my computer time while intermittantly reading books to Alyssa who wondered back and forth from the boys to me.

At 11am I asked them if they wanted to go to McDonalds for lunch and I got an exultant, "yes!" So around 11:30 we headed out. I didn't want to go to our local, as I didn't want to run into people we knew, so we went a bit further out.

It actually had a really great play place and a cool basketball hoop game that could be played over and over without any coins. Tyler had a great shot, I was very impressed.

I was in no hurry, they played, we got ice cream cones,

went to their public restrooms, etc. Their happy meal toys (which I don't usually get--a spring break treat) had toys in it, of course. I got the "toddler toy" for Alyssa and the boys decided they also wanted that. I traded them and the lady then gave me 2 different toddler toys. I know that wouldn't go over well, but I tried it.

Sure enough, they all wanted the same one. I said I wasn't going back again and Matthew said he would after Tyler said he didn't want to. It was cute watching Matthew wait patiently to ge the workers attention.

I actually planned to take them to see Alvin and the Chipmunks at the $1 theater, but they didn't want to go. I gave them an option of an outdoor park and they got excited about that. So we left the golden arches at 1:30ish and I drove around a neigborhood near us, but we don't go often. I figured we'd eventually run into a park. We did, and it was empty, and they were very excited about the colorful play scape.

Except after a run up on the playscape and around the park, they opted instead to just roam around talking.

We eventually played hide and seek and they tore up a styrofoam log they found to which I told them to pick it all up. We then had a talk about leaving the park nicer than we left it and congratulated them on the service they provided as they picked up someone elses trash left behind. They eventually want back to play on the structure just before we headed out.

After a quick trip to the grocery story, we came home for me to make Mexican Taco's (the kids favorite meal) and they picked out a movie to watch...Strawberry Shortcake.

I fried tortilla's while talking long distance to my friend Emily....(i told her I'd blog a pict of me on
the phone with her)

Michael came home, our friend Dan came over for dinner, and I finally got off the phone in time to eat our meal.

Dan's fam went to grandma's for spring break, so we thought we'd feed him a meal. After, the kids roped him into playing superhero's in the backyard.

After a few twirls of Alyssa, Dan left, and I ran an errand to FedEx to get my lens that came today. I rented another. Thus ends the fun of day 2.
Until tomorrow...

I really, really need your recipe for Mexican Taco's. Anything that involves frying sounds wonderful to me. Very cute pictures! I love all the blogging! Keep it up!
What a fun day! I chuckled at your "blogging every day, people" comment.
Thank you for feeding my hubby. Was there a dress code for the men at dinner?
