Settling in quite nicely

Michael walked in the room to find Cali perched on the step stool.

After school, the kids get otter pops or go-gurts and Cali wants to share. 

A family in our ward had free tickets to the city babeball game and we all went.

The boys at school

I had to add the story here about a tough incident for me.  I was watching tyler play this blindfold spray bottle game with his partner, Christian.  At one point, Christian decided to break the rules and since Mrs. Mollenkopf, their teacher, didn't see it all, she punished both of them thinking they both broke them.  I saw it all, tyler was innocent.  She had them both sit out the rest of the round.  Tyler was on the verge of tears as he looked at me to do something.  I was on the verge of tears, too.  But I realized in that moment that I am not in charge in the school setting.  His teacher is.  Though it "isn't fair" what happened to him, its life, and she has to run her class and I need to stay out of it.  She is a great teacher, and she did the best she could.  She apologized to me later, but I told her that she needs to do what she needs to do.  Good lesson for me and tyler both.
