February 29th only comes every 4 years. We tried to explain the significance of this to our children, but I think they are a bit young to truly wrap their brains around it. I can barely wrap my brain around it. It was a friday, and when Michael come home at 2:30 (as he does every friday) he got the boys all excited to go swimming. Everyone squeeled with delight, while I was a little grumpy about the idea. I said I'd go, but didn't want to swim and Michael had to get everyone suited up. We have a neighborhood year round pool that is heated...somewhat. It was a warm day, but when wet, I knew it wouldn't seem so warm to them. It was my last day with my lens that I was returning, so I took the opportunity to take picts of them playing at the pool. Yes, swimming in February. There actually were a few other families also at the pool, just can't see them here. We left with 3 chilly kids and a shivering dad.
Tyler with his crazy crooked front tooth...we pulled it out a few days later.

The beloved crab...it has a slide on its back that goes into the water. Not the greatest slide, but the crab is a fun thing for the kids.

Little bathing suits are just the cutest! When my neice was three she called them "banging suits".
The pictures are great as always!
Love the pictures. You are so talented. And your kids are so cute!
It always amazes me how much Kyle and Matthew look alike!
I can't believe you guys were at the swimming pool in February! Insane! ;o)
Did you know babies born on Leap Year Day are called Leaplings? I found that very entertaining as I helped twin leaplings into the world. I think it is a very significant day!
