a buncha stuff in october

so with 2 birthdays and halloween and pumpkin patches and almost one bday (tyler on nov. 1st) and the busiest time for fall pictures, october is always super crazy and filled with lots of pictures...this year is no exception. I decided to throw in OUR family pics and the making of a quilt and baby outfit for it.  wowzers!  i sorta thrive on crazy though...
first up, i helped paint a map of the united states on the concrete at the kids schools.  i only got to help for an hour, but i painted in Utah and Delaware, two states that are special for our family!

A few sewing projects, my friend Debra Temple helped me with several and I made her look at the camera for a picture...

below is for a skirt for alyssa, she made one for her daughter, too

we had a guy come build a wall around our tree and dig down a foot or so to properly preserve it in hopes it won't die on us.  the neighbor boys helped haul the rocks michael got to the back.

 alyssa decided she wanted to be a doctor for occupation day.  she didn't believe me when i told her doctors wear white coats, it took some convincing for her to wear her brothers church shirt un bottoned.

i got to go talk about being a photographer. i stood on a chair to show i have to get high sometimes.  brought samples (see the table) to share, too.
