Matthew turns 8!

Matthew wanted a silly bands and lego birthday.  Since we did the big lego man last year, I had to think of something else involving silly bands.  He loves kit kats and when I went to a baby shower the week before and they had a similar kit kat cake, I knew I had to do that.  He LOVED it and it made me so happy!  It was super easy to make and I tied it all up/held it together with silly bands.

These are all out of order now, but I can't go back and re-do....

his party was on a friday right after school.  in the invite i said kids could walk home with us, and a bunch of them did.  there are also a handful of neighbor kids, too.  it was fun to see this cute herd of boys behind me.

but cuter to watch him show off his sister...all the kids love her!

Below isn't his bday, but a few days before was a field trip to underground caves.  So glad I got to go and hang out with him for the day!
