Lunch with friends

My friend Jessica had a birthday today. I was going to take her to lunch by herself because she "didn't want to make a big deal" of her birthday. But several others emailed me wondering if I had anything planned and that they wanted to celebrate, too. So we got to have a gathering after all, yay! Unfortunately, we forgot to get the camera out when Natalie, Amy, and Trish were there, but we got Jess, Liz, and myself (with my 3 kids jumping crazily in the background). Liz said she would wait for me to blog about the event and consider it blogged herself (I don't understand that rationale). Jessica did so many things to make my birthday great, so I hope she had a great day. I just love her. I get to see her in a few days in San Diego, and I'm excited to meet all her family there...that will be fun!
