They come out every year in the spring...they last for a few weeks and then they are gone. Beautiful, lining the highways and other patches of ground. They are the state flower, so it is illegal to pick them. I have taken picts of my kids pretty much every year in the bluebonnets and I wasn't planning on it this year. I'm tired of it. But, I took a girl out there for Senior portraits and they were so nice in a great spot surrounded by tree's that I had to take Alyssa out. She's not so good at looking at me and smiling, but I grabbed a few fun shots of her in them.
After I was done, Alyssa said she wanted to takes some picts of me, so I handed her my camera and put it on auto and she snapped away. I wished I had another camera to take picts of her holding my big camera (quite well actually) because it was so cute.

OK, get me that camera! If your toddler can take such good pictures, its just what I need! I love the pics of her and I am actually super impressed of the ones of you! You look beautiful (and its not just the great camera). I miss the bluebonnets!!!

My favorite picture is the one of Alyssa laying in the field of blue bonnets.
Haha....well, I did "doctor" the picts she took of me. I focused for her and she just pushed the button. A lot of it is photoshop. I like the photoshoped version of me much better:)

STOP IT! Those are so beautiful--I am quite impressed at her artistic eye. You look gorgeous, and could your kids be any cuter? And then add the bluebonnets--magic!
So fun. I love the first picture of little Alyssa. She looks like she is looking around with wonder at it all. I love the pictures from past years too. They grow up so fast! I can't believe my memories of Alyssa are from 2006. She is growing up to be quite a beauty--just like her momma.
I miss the bluebonnets!! When Warren and I lived in Dallas, we would always get pictures of Kaylee sitting or sniffing the bluebonnets. Also, I can't believe Alyssa took those pictures. That is amazing. When Kaylee or Nicole gets my camera, I get pictures of my nose, hands, or toes. The pictures look beautiful and so do you. You haven't changed at all.
