My piano Bench

A few months ago I took picts of my friends baby, and I guess she felt she needed to repay me by doing a favor for me. Most people offer, and I say no because I truly love to give my friends gifts of photography. But she saw a need (we had discussed before that I wanted to do it), and made a specific offer and I am OH SO GRATEFUL! I love my piano, have had it for 4 years. Got it at a garage sale. From day 1, I wanted to re-do the bench, it was just never a priority. My mom even can do stuff like this. I am just not so ambitious. When Debra said, can I cover your piano bench I wanted to say, no, really, I don't need anything in return, I just could not turn down that offer. Crafty things are just not my thing, and the idea just got me SO excited! She came over one afternoon, and it really only took about an hour. I helped her take off the old nasty cover and then she beautifully recovered it with fabric she found...a smooth black. It just looks so pretty and I'm so happy with the results!
