Soccer Season

Just Matthew is playing this spring, Tyler is holding out for summer T-ball. We did manage to get him on the same team as his friend, Jackson (son of Michele below). We put on the YMCA forms that there was a "medical condition" that they needed to be on the same team. That condition happened to be the birth of sweet baby Sophie, and I'd need to transport Jackson at times, hence the medical condition scenario. It is so much fun to watch little ones play sports. We don't practice a whole lot ouside of YMCA, so they just have fun. I've enjoyed my new zoom lens helping me geat some fun shots of Matthew in action. Some from game #1 and game #2. He's pretty aggressive going after the ball and gets some kicks in from time to time, but when there are 1 or 2 kids who are really good, the others don't seem to get much of a chance. I guess we need to practice a bit more on our own to help with that. He played goalie the last quarter and really enjoyed that. He stopped some goals and didn't get any past him, so that was fun. He enjoyed it, too. The times he was all alone in the goal box, he would strike a transformer move, dance to the chicken dance playing throughout the fields or just jump with excitement at what was going on at the other end of the field. He was always running and smiling and often with his tongue sticking out almost licking his nose. I love watching him play!

The action shots are so good. I am glad he had fun because whenI signed my Kaylee up for basketball - she cried the entire time. If she got the ball, she would just stand their and cry. So, we are trying ballet and gymnastics and she loves those. I wish you could come out to Colorado and take my girls pictures!!

there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to being able to click on the images...sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. I never shrink them. When I do a bunch at once, I just select to upload it small.

Rach--they play until the end of May, you guys gotta come
