Friends and babies

A few weeks ago, I took my very pregnant friend, Michele out for a pedicure. She is the smallest full term pregnant lady I'd ever known, but she was sick a lot during her pregnancy. It was her first pedicure ever, so I insisted she get flowers painted on her toes so she could have something beautiful to stare and smile at during delivery. I always love converstions with the Asian ladies doing the pedicures. They laugh when I can't stand the scrubbing on the bottom because it tickles....I guess Michele has the same problem. When I asked one of the ladies to take our picture, she acted as if she'd never done that before. She did an ok job here....(Linda, this is the same place we used to go, they gave it a huge makeover inside, very nice)
We stayed for quite a while after they were done...making sure our toes were extra dry...nice and relaxing mom's afternoon out. Then Michele brought baby Sophie into the world and here are a few picts I took of her at 11 days old. Oh my goodness, I forget how small babies are. I hadn't held a newborn in a little while, she was just under 7 pounds here. The soft newborn skin is just so wonderful. This is baby #4 for my friend.

I love this last one a lot!

I went to see the Quints yesterday. They are all getting so big! They are also getting very mobile! Scary!

Okay she allready had 3 kids and she had never had a pedi? That is a shame! You're a good friend to introduce her! And the pics are beautiful! You are so talented!
