Couples Halloween Party

The weekend before Halloween, I co-hosted a halloween party. I did one two years ago at our home and it was a lot of fun. I was telling my friend Tamiel about it, and how I wanted to do it again, but with the house on the market, didn't seem feasable. She said, "Lets do it together at my house!" What a great idea. I actually really loved this because I helped plan, but didn't feel all the pressure because we threw the party together. We invited a bunch of couples, and about half were able to come. Most even did costumes. It was funny because at first we had different ideas of themes, but we were able to come together and decided it was a "Scary/cute" theme with spiders and orange. Here is the web over her piano....

Below she draped my black photography backdrop from her balcony down to the foyer with the cobweb--I thought this looked cool. It was dark and with a strobe light upon entering (can't quite get that effect in a picture).
Here is Tamiel with her husband, John, and their baby, Kemp. Our babies were due a day apart, but born about 3 weeks apart--#4 for both of us. They dressed as Pokemon characters (their girls finished out the theme on Halloween).
We kinda lamed out and wore the costumes we did 2 years ago. Cali as baby Leia like Alyssa was 4 years ago.
Tonja and Jeremy Howa
Scott and Monica Little (they actually won for the coolest costume). I loved it!
Darin and Heidi--she was "smarty pants"
Stacey and Brent Bean--she actually had a magnetic nose ring and fake tattoos.
Trent and Emily Christenson. Loved the tattoo arm and wig.
Andy and Heidi Jarnagin actually painted their car tires with black paint and rolled over their clothes--very cool.
Peter and Michael Owens--she won a voucher on the radio for a costume store online and bought this cool witch costume
Jason and Michele Steed didn't quite get into the spirit of dressing up...
Liz and Reid left early and I thought I got a pic of them, but can't find it.

Below: The dessert table--I loved that pumpkin cream cheese roll.

Michael made these yummy Vampire Bites (cake balls) and they were delish and lovely.

Halloween Pictionary turned out to be pretty fun.

I thought Tamiel's hair rocked! She put in a toilet paper roll and lots of sticky stuff of which I cannot remember right now. Her baby was a Poke-ball.

There you are, Liz!

Would Cali be crying because of the scariness before her?

Our neighbor, Moriah, watched our 3 plus Tamiels 3 girls....and survived.

Tyler, Matthew, and Madison (Tyler's age) love to swap Pokemon cards.

It was a really fun night! I love gatherings with friends.

Your parties looks so fun. I will have to remember to come back and look at you Halloween posts next year when I am trying to think of a good costume!
