Just a bunch of randoms

This was a Sunday afternoon a week or so ago. I was chilly, so wrapped in my blanky, then Matthew came to my lap to cuddle and get warm too. Then Alyssa joined, then Tyler. It was tough to balance them all, but fun to cuddle with all 3 of my little ones. Since I wasn't leaning against anything, it was my abs holding us up (which isn't saying much). Needless to say, we started to topple....
And Michael got this fun shot of us all falling down....

I pulled out the Little People village for Alyssa and her friend Ashlee. The boys loved playing this at her age, but its been up on the shelf for a while. This has provided hours of fun for Alyssa recently.
Here she is playing with the Little People Mayflower my mom gave us last year for Thanksgiving (on the floor of the garage as I was getting out other turkey day boxes from the attic).

Alyssa playing with a friend, Parker. We had him for the day while his parents welcomed his baby brother. He even came to dance class with us and to lunch with our friend.

Scouts at our house...its happens about once a month. This was Tyler's first official meeting, though he'd been attending since I started a few months ago.

Tyler's first sick day happened on the day I was supposed to chaperone Matthew's pumpkin field trip. He was quite ill and he fell asleep on the floor of my closet (aren't my clothes a nice pillow?) after spending time just feet away, near the toilet.

Michael administering some Physical Therapy to Matthew. The day before halloween he got a kinked neck from a trampoline stunt and he was walking around for a week with his head slightly tilted and he'd turn his entire body with him to look at something. Michael had to work it all out each night to get it back. How lucky we are to have that skill around!


This Sunday afternoon we spent time around the piano with Tyler' playing us his Christmas piano songs (he is getting really good at playing!) and then Michael played us some songs. Then the boys were arguing over the Friend magazine that had a word search in it, and Michael found a cool website for word searches. You type in your words of choice and it pops out a fun search. They were able to do the same one and when Michael included 50 different Book of Mormon names, it took a good part of the afternoon. Then, we did piggy tails on everyone.
