The end of June Misc.

I recently purchased a new point and shoot camera and it is waterproof! A few photographers on my forum recommended it, and they carried it in orange at my sams club!
On Alyssa's bday, we tested it out and had lots of fun!

This is Cali's favorite way to be held. She usually hunches over and falls asleep.

Almost 12 pounds now, at 10 weeks.

After Alyssa's birthday, I wanted to make another cake to eat more with my favorite rainbow chip frosting. I just started digging in from the top and this is how it looked when I presented it to my family for dessert. I don't like the more cooked edge of cakes, I like the middle! Michael said it looked like a face that got torn off.
The kids thought it was pretty fun to just dig in willy nilly.

If she doesn't have a hand to hold, she just clutches her fists into her chest like this. A normal baby move, I'm sure, but just so cute to me.

Tyler went to his first cub scout day camp and loved it. He got to hang out with his buddy, Garrett, all week. They shot B.B. guns, bow and arrows, fishing, slip and slide, all sorts of fun. What a big kid I have.
The kids have also had an obsession with Poptropica--taking over MY computer. Their friend Harrison in College Station first taught them, then saw cousin Isaac in DC plays it, too. They now swap tactics with friends here and we've had to place limits. Who needs a Wii? Do you Poptropica, too??

A friend emailed this to me that she took at the Father's Day Primary activity. I love it!
When Tyler was at scout camp, Matthew and Alyssa played like old times (before Kinder for M.) She picked out a Polly Pockets swimming pool with her birthday money and I actually let her have it.
I love this of Michael working, AJ coloring, and Cali resting. An evening that alyssa took a late afternoon nap and the boys were already in bed.
Just 1 hour until my most favorite month!
