This cute family used to live on our street. For just 9 months. Since we went to church together also, and our kids matched up, we spent a lot of time together. That was about 2 years ago. They then moved to San Antonio, and now live in College Station just under 2 hours away. We have found a way to get together for our breaks, and our first day of Spring Break was so much fun!
After playing at our house for a while, we went to McD's and had a picnic by the longhorns.

Their oldest, Harrison is Tyler's age, but they all play together so well. He brought his Pokemon cards so they could trade (I wish I knew how they got involved in that past time).
Samantha is Matthew's age and used to play with the big boys, but she and Alyssa were like magnets to each other. Holding hands as if they'd been playmates all along. They were very concerned about the water here (that girls wimper) and I was laughing at that here. They held tightly to my hands. Cynthia stayed on the sidewalk with her double stroller and 2 little ones.
We went under the freeway to the park. They liked this steep underpass--hopefully they don't feel "at home" here and aspire to hang out here in the future.
Alyssa and Sammy holding hands--so cute!
I'm so glad they made the effort to come out to visit us--Cynthia is a friend that I can easily talk to, and we just jump back into conversation like no time passed.

I love seeing all of her adorable dark haired ones next to your blonds. Oh what will your next one look like? And I like the comment about hanging out under the freeway, funny.
fun that she would come and visit! I thought the highway thing was funny too! at least you know it exists, right?!
