Both of these drawings below are by Matthew. I love how our family is represented, especially my pregnant belly/the baby inside. So cute! The first was done at church (click to see larger).

This second was at school. He wrote about us all in a tent that we built (fort with blankets at home).

I especially love the baby here. And my hair--not to mention Michael's hair.

I met up this week with one of my former Laurels, Kelsey. I taught her at church when she was 17 and newly baptized a member of our church. She is now 22 and shocked to find I am ONLY 30. She said I simply must not stop having children now when I have many more child bearing years ahead of me. She also thinks my kids are cute and there should be as many of them as possible (how could I not love her for that?) She was shocked to realize that I was just 25 when I was her leader--we are only 8 years apart.

Have to share my sad sad foot. I didn't even snap one of my calf--its just as bad, but I didn't have the veins bulging on my foot my last pregnancy, so this is a new one. Yeah, it hurts pretty bad. I wear my support hose (thigh highs) on just my right leg because my left is fine. This was after 2 days of not being able to wear them because I had to wash one and couldn't find the other. But aren't my toes pretty?

I need to take down my Christmas pictures, but I just love to look at them. I thought it'd be fun to disect where each is from, as I get people asking that when they look.

That is so fun that you got to see one of your old Laurel's. I am so sorry about your poor foot, I wish I could do something to help you...the things we go through to get these little people here! :) Love yow!
Oh my goodness!! I want to come to your house and make you sit down so I can rub your foot until it is the right size! (even though I hate touching feet, I would do that for you...though I'm sure that your live-in physical therapist has already thought of that.) I'm not sure that would even help for that...I just had no idea. Bless your heart!!!!
And I love the pictures that Matthew drew, so cute. Love the baby that looks as though it is sitting on your lap.
(PS the pulled over incident was on the way to a certain boy's house in the Woodlands after I was engaged. An awkward sort of visit it was too. It happened kinda close to leaving your house off of Cypresswood?)
Your toes are very pretty but your foot looks painful! Are you sure you didn't break your ankle?
I love your wall of Christmas cards! I still have all of mine up on my refrigerator. I say leave them up until Christmas!
I love Matthew's pictures! Those are classic, especially the one of the baby, and is that an umbilical cord? haha :) Sorry about your poor foot :(
I like the way that your put all the Christmas pics in categories. You were so sweet to print that one out of us! I hope that your ankles stop hurting too!!
Yes, several people (besides on this blog) have asked if Matthew drew the umbilical cord, but I think it was just the silhouette of my stomach. I need to ask him, I just don't think he is familiar with the whole cord situation.
Love Matthew's pictures - quite the budding artist!
So sorry about the veins. I had such a few, I hate that they are so painful. Grandma Ball was plagued with them and has always worn support hose. I had a small crop but not anywhere near what you have. Sorry they skipped a generation. Buy some new support hose, on me.
Love the wall or door of FAME that it holds pictures from such a variety of your friends. I'm proud of you for keeping up with all your old time friends.
Love You, MOM
SO sorry about your poor foot. Ugh. I love Matthew's pictures. Kyle drew similar ones when I was pregnant with Merrick.
So I'm assuming our picture fell off? ;o)
