I saw on Ellen this morning a couple featured, and after watching them I figured they had to be LDS, (she mentions Institute class and visited the NYC temple). After all, they'd only known each other for 6 months and dated for 2 months when he proposed (that's what they told Ellen, but I haven't seen that written anywhere else). They live in NM and are in college, but he is from a small Utah town. They were on the Today Show a few days ago, too. Long story short--he put the engagement ring in her Frosty at Wendy's and she swallowed it without knowing it. It came out 2 days later:)

I googled and found lots of news stories and links, but was excited to find her blog and a cell phone video of her having a frosty eating contest, where she didn't even realize she swalled the ring. HERE IS HER BLOG to watch the video if you are interested.

Yeah, I saw this the day after it happened. My friend linked to her blog. CRAZY! I love that it's getting all of this coverage, getting on all of these shows. It really is unbelievable, but the evidence proves it! haha. I like that they announced when the ring "arrived" :)

That is truly hilarious...and disgusting.
I saw this on Inside Edition but missed the Mormon connection. I did, however, think that who besides Mormons do the crazy stuff when they are getting engaged. Glad to have my thought verified.
Cute story. Not sure I'd want to keep sharing forever the story of what that ring went through to "arrive".
