A whole Bunch of Randoms....in no particular order

Yay, I got it! Alyssa's Christmas present came in the mail (fedex)! It was purchased from ebay, and I was starting to feel it was a shady deal. Soooo happy when it arrived today (Saturday) when it was due to come on Monday. No, I can't tell you what it is...you'll have to wait until Christmas! On another happy note, I also sold my first 2 items on Craigs List to make way for Christmas. Bye Bye inflatable firestruck (my mom got it for Matthew's 2nd birthday, it was in the attic, we played with it once recently) It sold for $20, my asking price.
Alyssa's table had to go. I got it at PB Outlet (I mean kirk and rachel picked it up for me) but it was just too big considering the big box above will be in her room and eventually a baby crib. bought it for $90 (plus gave R&K a tip of $10), sold it for $100.
We are spending the day de-cluttering our home as well. Oh my, under those boys beds...Here is a review of random pics from the past couple of weeks.

We cut down our tree last weekend....

We delivered gifts for Blue Santa (police department collects gifts for families and volunteers deliver them) yesterday as a service outing to teach our kids that Christmas is about helping others.

Preschool at my house. I decided to don our Santa costume and surprise the children as they came to school. Fortunately they weren't scared but thought it was fun.

Tyler got an award for "soaring in the classroom":

And we had to get a new fridge b/c our old one died....Here is Matthew mourning the loss of our old one:

End of Alyssa's dance class:

Her new friend, Gabriella, they got those cute dresses for their recital that AJ didn't end up attending due to our ward party and her not knowing the dance anyway. But she wears the dress all around town and gets lots of attention from it and wonders why people are commenting on her outfit.

School parties on Friday. Since Michael took the day off for the Blue Santa deliveries, he came to the parties, too:

Random Alyssa

matthew organizing the kitchen cabinet, they now trade off emptying the dishwasher and sweeping the floor each week as their kitchen job. I love his camo pants, I wish mine looked that good on me.

This was the day after Thanksgiving, getting out all the Christmas decor.

Our tree with presents...I'm mostly done with my wrapping! Hooray!!!

I am just feeling like I need a Kristen hug tonight to get some of all that good stuff rubbed off on me. Was that a creepy comment? I didn't mean for it to be.

we sold the table because of space...when i got it, it was bigger than I thought. We now have to fit a large dolly house in her room, and soon a crib. It was hard to part with it, but easier that I sold it for the price I bought it. I'll hug you in a week, Em, and Linda, tell J I'll show him something to be scared about...

Blue Santa sounds like an awesome way to do service at Christmastime! Love the randomness of the pictures, recapping the Christmas season. And this made me think of all the things I should try to sell on Craigs List to get money...and to save space, I guess.

Nice job on the CraigsList-ing. You're so awesome to be Sassy Santa. I bet the kids just loved it. You guys do so many fun things and I'm so glad you take pictures...those little moments (class parties, dance class, pulling out the Christmas decor) are really important too...but I think most people don't think about it or just don't make time to take pictures. I try to...but mostly I end up thinking it would be a hassle...I'm glad you do it. Miss you.
