Much to say, but for now, I'd love for you all to click over to my PHOTOG BLOG to see an auction I'm doing. For those of you that have not been around the blogosphere, a tragic story, with some hope.

I typed out more of the story on my PHOTOG BLOG with other links, too. This story has been heavily on my mind the past few weeks....part of what led to my guilt/worry about leaving my family behind.

As I said on your photog blog, I've been following this story for the past week. For some reason I can't stop thinking about their situation and praying for them. I've been reading Stephanie's blog from the beginning and really getting a sense of her.
I just called my mom to see if she had heard about it since she lives in Provo. I thought she might know of Stephanie's mom since she is a councilwoman in Provo. It turns out that the Clarks live in my parents ward and my mom visit teaches Cynthia Clark, Stephanie's mom. And her brother, Matt Clark (who I've met) is their home teacher and has been for years. My mom knows Stephanie too as she wasn't married yet when my parents moved into the ward. It is a small world. My mom said that Elder Holland was meeting with the entire Clark family tonight. Apparently he used to live in the ward too when he was at BYU.
Hey Kristen, you should get the people on that Nie Recovery website to link to your auction, then you might get some more bids!
I have been thinking of this story lately, too, and it just breaks my heart. I think it's so wonderful that you are willing to give your time and talents to help out. :o)
wow, Maren, thanks for sharing. Yes, Nikko, I did actually email the people that are running the auctions. I emailed them last week and tried to get a few more people from my photography forum on board. We'll see.....
I hadn't heard about this until I saw your post, and my heart is breaking for their family! I didn't realize how many small children they have, and how scary it must be for them. Thank you for informing me about this, they are definitely in my prayers.
Kristen I too have been (somewhat) following this sad story... Good luck with your auction...
I'm glad you're home safe and sound...!!!
Totally off topic: Have you ever ordered biz cards from ACI? if so, what did you think?
