Tyler has recently become very interested in all things sports. He loves to watch it all on tv. Now, Michael likes sports, but didn't care enough to tune in at home, which I love. But now every Saturday Tyler is asking if anything is on and they watch together as Michael explains things to him. It's cute to watch him really interested. He also love the UT Longhorns--being that we live in Austin. He was so excited for the championship game. I got a cake and a balloon at the store and even football plates to rev up his excitement. Even if I don't love it, I love that he loves it. We told him he could stay up to watch the game and he was thrilled. He even got extra credit for wearing his shirt in his class at school b/c his teacher is a big longhorns fan.
Clearly, Matthew doesn't get into it as much as Tyler does....
I've got spirit, too! Tyler thought it was cool that I wore my UT shirt, too. That is what I was hoping.
The other two tried to stay up. I love how Matthew fell asleep on the cushions like this...

Too bad Colt hurt his arm....he still watched every second. He and Michael cheered on the team til after 11pm, My boy is growing up....

Very cute. And I love how supportive you are of his new love.
Yay for UT! Kirk and I were SUPER sad that Colt hurt his arm. :( It sounds like it was an awesome bonding experience for Michael and Tyler though. Love it!
