June at Home in 2011

My sis in law, Kriste, reminded me that I need to update this bad boy.  I've had intentions to, and now my goal is to publish through 2011 by the end of the summer. I really do want the details of my family life to be better documented, so here are pics from last June 2011.
I was called to serve in the Young Women in June 2011, and this is one of the first activities we had all of us together.

Lindsey (the cute red head) babysat my kids quite a bit, and the girls overnight once.

Rayna is such a sweetheart.

For Alyssa's 6th birthday, Michael and I took her out to eat, just the 3 of us. It was a fun outting.

Alyssa and Bennett on our visit to Corpus Christi

Natalie and I met up in Dallas.

We made a giant oreo cake with the kids.
Avobe, another pic of us on our evening out.
Our neighbor Reece and Cali.

Michael went to cub scout day camp where both Tyler and Matthew were there. I sent my camera along for him to take some pics so I could feel like I was there.

Above, my siblings and I at Russell's medical school graduation. It was special to be a part of that. I wrote about it in my photog blog, May 2011.

Just the 4 kids at wal-mart...they looked so cute patiently waiting on a bench while i checked out.

Above, Alyssa was SO excited to be an older "buddy" to the preK girl who came on a tour for 2 hours. She shows great leadership qualities.

These missionaries came quite a bit. We played a bunch of minute to win it games, and the one on the left played the ukalale.

Over the summer, each Friday, we did what was called: football friday.  We invited a bunch of boys from school and church to play football in the morning before it got too hot. The girls and I prepped lemonade, then at the end we all had popcycles. It was really fun!

my girls--love them.

AJ posing so cute.

on an adventure in ft. worth while visitig cousins.

It rained a lot, and the kids were splashing in the puddles!

That sums up the month of June pretty well, mostly just home chillin, trying to have field trips and fun scheduled in there. I love the laid back-ness of summer. I love being with my kids.
