The rest of January....buckle those blogging seat belts.

Tyler's 4th grade science project: Do Video Games Rot  your Brain?  He invited a bunch of friends over to take half of a test, play video games for 30 minutes, then finish the test.

When he presesented it to his class, everything thought it was so cool...yay!

There was  a dance at the school and our neighbor Naomi brought Ashley and I brought Alyssa and we danced the night away.  It was SO much fun.  Loved all the teeny bopper songs!

Their teacher, Ms. Hutchison

The Pinewood Derby was run by Michael, the Cubmaster this year. Lots to organize, and Matthew's first/Tyler's last.  They spent a lot of time building and working on these cars leading up to the event.

Love this happy look on Matthew's face below!

cute boys....

see little Cali in pink?  It was tough keeping her off the track.

Happy Tyler with sister cheering him on.

I love their individual creations.

Though this event left me anxious in the days before and nervous and not wanting to attend, it turned out ok.  Sure there was some disappointment, but the boys handled it well.  I think we figured that Tyler got 7th and Matthew got 11th out of 15 scout cars.
Playing with blankys at home.

Love this shot above of Alyssa helping Cali get dressed.

Shake it...baby shake it...baby shake it....(a song I sing and she dances)

Matthew trimming her toe nails as she patiently waits...

I just love these boys. Best friends.
