Michael busily hanging my curtains before our housewarming party (june 5th)
This was the shower curtain used to make my kitchen curtain. Love it!
The day of our party, I had the kids seperating orange and yellow lentils, I just wanted yellow in the jar.
Summer fun jar activities...
Michael built the first pvc pipe tent in the new house
the kids are enjoying sleeping in a new spot each night--one night was even in their bathroom by the sink
One activity was making bean bags. We cut, pinned, and sewed them (machine broke half way through the 2nd one)
Extra kids over to play
On Katie's birthday, she and Mindy came over to make hair bows out of felt.
My new friend, Katie Brown, has been kindly having alyssa over to play with her 3 girls.

I got to spend a day with tyler at cub scout day camp. though I wasn't innitially very excited about it, it was great to have some boding time with my boy. I offered to carry him on my back when we went to stations and he thought that was pretty cool--so did the other boys and adults:)
Daniel Baird and Garret Temple from the Brushy Creek Ward. We carpooled with kids from our new ward (that was awesome) but he was in the group with boys from our old ward. I love being a fly on the wall at those boys converstions. Tyler is pretty naive still, but interesting to hear how not naive some other kids are his age.
I even got to shoot the be-be gun and got a bullseye
Tyler shooting got a few bulls eyes, too
The bow and arrow was much more difficult
amazingly, out of the 10 shots I took, 5 landed on the board and 1 was a bulls eye!
we played find the penny in the flour as a summer fun jar activity
I made this pic above my current facebook profile pic b/c I love it so much. We had a little flour fight after the game. Little messy, but I let go and had fun!
