Holiday Extravaganza....past 12 days in review

This is not for the weary...this is a major purge...and this doesn't even include Christmas day...that'll be another purge. Mostly of our time with my family, but some just before we met up with them.

Family devouring cheesecake from "the factory" We got 5 different kinds to split between 10 adults. We got forks and just dug in..... (Linda, we got Godiva, and I have to say... I can live without it...but its a fave of others in my fam)

Lots of game nights.....

Cousins slumber party...love this sleeping shot and Uncle Russy "flying" Alyssa

Awesome 3 story playscape near my parents home

Tyler working on his 2nd loose tooth (he lost his first last July)....it came out on Christmas Eve, and the tooth fairy ended up bumping into Santa in the hall (she left Tyler a note about it)

Take 1 (the stubborn tooth broke 2 pieces of floss)

Take 2 (notice the red eyes behind that smile? It was a rough few minutes before the third big tug) The tooth had a hook-like appendage that made it tougher to yank. Sorry for those that are queesy.

Family before church at my mom's...boys in tuxes to re-create grandkids pictures from the wedding in August.

I made 120 cake Truffles for teachers and some friends. These were chocolate/chocolate with crushed peppermint candy cane on the inside and outside...mmmm..mmmm...yum!

Alyssa was my helper...messy kitchen....you can imagine.

My Blurb book that I gave each couple in my family from our P. R. trip. The book was awesome! 60 pages for about $35 each. Thanks, Emily, for the nudge and help!

Kids playing with paper that came in a big box holding a canvas...fun with anything....

Tyler's school "holiday" party.

The teacher aide there to help a special needs child, but she loves all the children and we love Miss Julie, too. Mrs. Milburn and class with the plate we made her.

Our Christmas Sunday Attire....I only pull out this black velvet dress once a year...Aj was also in velvet, so I thought it fitting to head to the backyard for a few shots.....

trip to San Antonio the day after school got out....excited at the Botanical Gardens with a Dora/Diego exhibit

Our cute little tree at home...not the one we cut down...but the one I decorated with my pretty things:) And a shelf with some of my Christmas decor...

ok, here is the chubby no ornament real tree...we borrowed the stand from our neighbor, Clair. And the 3rd tree with the presents that never did get decorated...

.

I dare you to leave a comment....
