non Alcoholic Hangover

I got 3 hours of sleep last night...thankfully Michael got up with alyssa at 6 when she woke up and gave me 1 extra precious hour of sleep. I had to know that when I stayed out until 3am that I would feel this way, but at the time, I felt okay. I went to a 10 o'clock movie (Evening) with some friends and then we headed to IHOP for a little bite to eat. I REALLY wanted to try the funnel cake, but I felt a little ill as it was from the treats at the movie....so, I was sensible and got sausage and eggs...a little protein. I love staying up late, and to share it with friends and laughter was even more fun. I haven't done that in a loooong time, and now that i'm in the final year of my twenties, I have to LIVE IT UP, right? Have fun, throw caution to the wind? We all knew that when morning came and our husbands went to work, we'd be laying on the couch hoping our kids would enjoy a morning program....Unfortunately, Alyssa doesn't care for cartoons and kept shutting the armoir door. So here I am, blogging about my tiredness. I'm a little extra tired b/c I just got home from a fun filled trip to Puerto Rico yesterday afternoon. We flew into Houston monday night around midnight and I drove back home yesterday morning. anyway....babbling....a full account of my PR trip is coming, but I'm having some issues with picts, so it will be a while.

Well sorry I haven't visited yet. I never get time on my computer it seems and usually our baby is pounding at the keys whenever I try to type. First, congrats to Michael on his new job. It sounds fabulous and a great opportunity for him. And I hope you've gotten more sleep. it's always rough having to get up and be awake when you really don't want to. And good for you. I'm in my last year of the twenties also but haven't stayed up with friends that late in a long time. i bet you had a blast! i'm glad things are going so well for you all there. we're doing great here. Our Hannah is going to start 1st grade next month and she has the brightest smile you've ever seen. She still has the long red hair and the incredibly long eyelashes just like here daddy. She's an artist also; she can do art all day long! Our Seth is 4 and he is just trying to keep up with his sisters. He is full of energy and very smart. What a challenge! Audrey is almost 1 years old now and is not really a baby any more. She walks and talks and gets into everything! She isn't interested in toys, but anything in drawers, cupboards, shelves, etc. She also has red hair like her sister and bright blue eyes. I guess it's the smiles that make it all worth it right? Anyway, good to hear from you and hopefully I'll be a little more dilligent in keeping in contact!
