I finished the book in 4 days! 500 pages and that's still doing my regular fiddling on the computer each day....it is soooo great (I"m glad I didn't read the back b/c I might not have ventured into it if I knew what I was getting into). What is even more exciting is that there is a sequal that I need to run out and get, and the third installment comes out in August! I've never been so excited about a book before (reading has never been top of the list of my favorite things to do). I read what the author wrote on her website (late last night after I finished) so as not to get any spoilers, and I loved how she said, "I just love these two characters and I wanted to share them with everyone else." She's got several projects in the works regarding them! Yay! The book is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.....I posted about it below.

I just finished as well, (in as many days) and can't wait to start the second. I think it would make for a really great movie, don't you? I was surprised with how it all came out... and I like you am glad I didn't know that much about it, because I might not have read it otherwise. I think I read on her website or somewhere that Chapter 13 was a transcription of a detailed dream she actually had one night that was the impetus for the book. Amazing.
I've never wanted to be a vampire so bad in all my life...or at least have a vampire boyfriend.
Kristen, this is Jill (Linda's sister in law) and I am dying to know the name of the book that you are talking about. I love your blog by the way!
ok, don't hate me but I have to say I didn't love this book. I read it totally "blind" having no idea what it was about and somehow I just couldn't stick with the v------ [trying not to spoil] thing when it went that direction. I though the best part was the beginning when you are wondering what the heck is going on.
